when you want to be a better person for someone else. when you want to make sure theyre happy and safe at all times. when you would do anything for them. when your heart feels full whenever you think of them. when you feel complete in their presence. when you understand that your relationship needs to be balanced, in regards to power and emotion. when you can carry your own weight and know your partner can carry theirs. when you can have a conversation without opening your mouths. when you cant live without them. when they know you better than you know yourself. when no one else makes you happier. when you can see yourselves growing old together.
